God's children - even star children?

I have a strange question..... you hear that everyone is God's children. What about us star seeds?

To me, 'God' is a label for 'all that is' or 'infinite creation'...

Thus we ARE God in a certain form and with certain limitations.

Why would a 'star' child be any different to any other child in this respect??

Do you think 'all that is' only extends to this planet? hehe

Of course if you're thinking of the "little" god revered by only some (by no means all) of Earth's people, a god who has never claimed to comprise or rule anything other than Earth, that god might indeed have a problem with those not of Earth. ;-) Just because the god isn't big enough.

"Just because the god isn't big enough."

hmm... Can you expand on that comment a little Lily?

I have thought along these lines too.

I'm referring really to Jehovah/the Christian god - who created "heaven" (but I think it's clear that was a very local blue-sky heaven) and "earth" -- the major religions have been around so long and at the time of their formation, I think each and every one was focused on (a) humans on (b) Earth. Jehovah is well known to be surly, jealous, and territorial - he reminds me of some of the Greek and Roman gods, actually. Now Jehovah might not look kindly on beings who began to talk about the Universe, that level of Love, etc.

Though it's never part of the "common people" theologies, many mystics have believed that Earth was created/is managed by a demiurge, a subordinate delegate of a larger, busy-elsewhere deity about which not much is speculated. Some Christian mystics say Lucifer himself created and runs Earth. The Annunaki theories -- have an alien race not creating the planet, but creating humans. I think the demiurge theory's very credible but I haven't speculated much on any details.

Still, I think it makes a lot of sense to worship locally - to start where you are and worship out, as far as you can. The divinity within yourself, linked to a local stream or big rock or butterfly in your neighborhood, can link you so effortlessly to the divinity Everywhere, connection by connection, in a very solid way. I think there are real, actual local energies that can benefit or harm specific areas of Earth and their inhabitants and that can be linked with and worked with--the animist and pantheist religions, paganism, Shintoism, probably more religions than any others have gone with this idea. I think most starseeds come in with the innate awareness of divinity throughout creation and recognize it all around them here--which rattles many humans and the Christian god they've created in their image too. Concentrate on an idea enough, personify it long enough, and it begins to come alive, although not necessarily right in line with the creator's intent.
